Little Larkins: Happy Birthday Austin!!!

It's been a few weeks since Austin's first birthday. I FINALLY have a moment to write his blog. Austin had an awesome birthday thanks to all his friends and family! It was a special day. The weather was perfect (in the 70's), and his birthday is on St. Patty's Day. How awesome is that!?!? It was a Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat theme birthday party. I have lots of pictures to share from birthday party to Easter and in between :) ( I have a lot of catching up to do..lol)

My little man looked so adorable in his birthday outfit. Austin is not walking yet. Ever since he learned how to crawl, he no longer likes to stand up. I made sure Austin took his morning nap a little bit later than he normally does so he will be awake and in a good mood during his party. He did a good job! He did end up taking a nap right after him NOT wanting to smash his birthday cake.

I know you're probably like "wow that's a huge smash cake!" I really had no idea this cake would be this big. You can bet I was not looking forward to cleaning up that red icing on his high chair! And on the floor, his hands..etc.
