Goodbye monthly birthdays...

This month we celebrated Austin's last monthly birthday. I still can not believe in a few weeks we will be celebrating Austin's 1st birthday. It is going to be a bittersweet moment for us. My little guy is growing up so fast.

Austin had a playdate with his buddy Christopher who lives right across the street. The last time they played Christopher was already crawling like a pro and Austin would just sit there and play with his toys. Now they are both on the move!

As you can see Austin loved Christopher's bat and baseball. Which meant that mama was on a mission to find one for him. Took a few weeks, but I was able to find it and even better found a Yankees ball & bat! 

Austin also celebrated his 1st Valentine's Day!

Milestones...

These last few weeks Austin has achieved so much. He is now saying "Mama" which made my week! Austin was getting ready for bed and all of a sudden he just blurted out "mama!"
Proud mama over here!! :) 

We celebrated Austin's 10 months birthday and for dessert was a mini cannoli & chocolate covered strawberry. The months before were so easy to get Austin to look at the camera for his monthly birthday pics. Now, he's too busy looking down at his desserts and moving his arms and legs on his giraffe mat.

It took about 9 months for Austin to get his first tooth in and now he has a total of 4 with a 5th tooth breaking thru!! All within a month! I can't believe it. He's been a trooper. I was only able to get a picture of the bottom teeth so far.

Jammies are my favorite on Austin. Something about him in his pj's that I just love. He looks so adorable in them and now he is wearing big boy jammies!

Another milestone Austin has achieved is crawling!! Matt and I have tried to teach Austin how to crawl but he was so content just sitting and scooting on his butt to get to his toys. I figured when he's ready he would do it, but I didn't think it would happen so quickly. All in 2 days. The first day I picked Austin up from daycare he was moving backwards. The next day forwards. He is a mobile baby now and crawling around in his crib. We usually just lay him down for bedtime and he would talk to himself and fall asleep. Not anymore!! He would sit up and move around. He hasn't quite figured out how to lay back down, so he would sit up the entire time being quiet. I swear it looks like he's sleeping sitting up in his crib on the monitor..LOL. 

He is also eating grown up food. Pasta and chicken is his favorite!
